Garlic Harvest Day at Peachtree Circle Farm

Due to the unusually high demand for my fresh, organically grown hardneck varieties of garlic last year, I planted quite a bit more for this coming season. It seemed like a good idea at the time. . . But now it all has to come out - all at once! If there's any brave soul out there who would like to come and help, I would dearly love to see you! On Saturday, July 26 (this coming Saturday), between the hopefully cool but not rainy hours of 2:00 and 7:00, not only will I be pulling, cleaning and labeling garlic, I will also be gabbing with friends, drinking a beer, and mentally kicking back and having some fun. Join me? I can provide the tools, beverages, and garlic, if you will bring your own sunscreen, bug spray, children, or whatever else you think you may need.

Where?

Peachtree Circle Farm is at 881 Palmer Ave, in Falmouth. From Falmouth proper, take the left off of Palmer onto Palmer (yes, I know, it's confusing, but it's the left you take towards Sippewissett just before you hit the highway), and follow until you see the farm on your right, just after the campground on your left. From West Falmouth, take 28a towards the highway, take a right onto Palmer at the blinking yellow light just before you hit the highway, and it's the first farm on your left, just after the restaurant. Can't find me? Call (508) 328-3483.
